If press accounts from Iran and Russia are correct, a CIA officer was killed in Afghanistan when an American jet crashed on a mysterious mission. Althought the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, some speculate the jet was shot down.
The American Herald Tribune reports, “The White House and Agency have neither confirmed nor denied that the C.I.A. Chief of the Iran Mission Center Michael D’Andrea is still alive.”
The names of two deceased servicemen have been disclosed: Lt. Col. Paul Voss and Capt. Ryan Phaneuf.
If it is determined the jet was shot down by Iran in retaliation for the killing of General Qassem Soleimani, America make respond with additional military strikes.
- Pray for peace in the middle east.
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort the families of the deceased servicemen.
- Pray for God to give wisdom to diplomats communicating during this crisis.
