Prayer List: International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Churches throughout the world are remembering our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ today by participating in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. 2016 marks the 20th anniversary of IDOP.

Prayer List

* Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen persecuted believers.
* Pray for persecuted Christians to grow in the knowledge of the Word of God and to have discernment as they live for Christ.
* Pray for justice for Christians falsely accused of blasphemy in Muslim nations.
* Pray for Christians in closed nations to boldly share the love of Christ and the Gospel with their families, friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers and enemies.
* Pray for job opportunities for Christians facing discrimination in the workplace.
* Pray for the enemies of Christ to be convicted of their sin and need for a Savior, to be born again and then follow Christ like St Paul who persecuted Christians before his conversion.
